Each treatment is tailored to your vision needs and eye health.

During your consultation, Dr. Bardan will perform a detailed eye examination and diagnostic imaging to assess your vision, eye health and lifestyle needs. Based on this, he will recommend the most suitable treatment option.

You may be a candidate if you:

• Are aged 18 or over

• Have a stable vision prescription

• Do not have severe dry eye or corneal issues If LASIK isn’t suitable, alternatives such as SMILE, PRK, Phakic IOLs or Lens Exchange may be recommended.

• Cataract surgery replaces a cloudy natural lens due to age or degeneration.

• RLE is performed to improve vision and reduce dependence on glasses—even if no cataract is present.
  

Both procedures use similar techniques but have different goals.

Recovery varies by treatment but typically:

• LASIK: 24–48 hours

• Cataract Surgery / RLE: A few days

• Phakic IOL Surgery: 1–2 days

• Corneal Transplant: Several weeks
  

Full recovery guidance will be provided during your aftercare plan.

Many patients no longer need glasses following procedures such as LASIK, RLE or Premium Lens Implants. However, this depends on your treatment choice and overall vision health. Your goals will be discussed during the consultation.

No. Most treatments are quick, performed under local anaesthetic eye drops, and involve little to no discomfort. Some patients may experience mild irritation for a short time post-surgery.
